Welcome to the web site for Sports, Lifestyle, and Landscape photography by Stephen Matera.  Stephen Matera Photography specializes in outdoor sports, lifestyle and landscape images, including images from the Western United States, Alaska, the Southwest, British Columbia, and Michigan.  Landscape images include mountain scenics, forests, rivers, beaches, trees, wildflowers, and deserts from Mt. Rainier, the North Cascades, Olympic, Zion, Canyonlands, Arches, and Death Valley National Parks, the Columbia River Gorge. Sports and lifestyle images include skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, backpacking, trail running, snowshoeing, and Nordic skiing as well as urban lifestyle images.  All images are available as fine art prints as well as for publication.  Stephen Matera's photographs are taken using medium format, 35mm film and digital cameras.
